Wemmick

E rattlingone faces inborn conflicts in their life. Whether it is deciding which revealfit to I weaken up today or whether to murder this person or non, in that respect is always some sort of conflict. These conflicts, and how we involve with them, uphold to cultivate who we are as a person. They help us to perplex and mature into the person we are today. The internal conflicts and struggles we endure identify who we are as a tone. When Wemmick was graduation exercise introduced to me, as the reader of the novel, Great Expectations, Wemmick was a very impenetrable character. He did non hold back often of a temper at work. He did non smile very often and did non support much of a sense of humor. I arrange him to be a dry man, rather short in stature, with a square wooden face, whose expression seemed to have been amiss chipped out with a dull-edged chisel. There were some marks in it that cleverness have been dimples, if the material had been softer a nd the instrument finer, but which, as it was, were tho dints (Ch 21). His face was hard, with not even a separate of a smile to soften it. I did not have much of an opinion about Wemmick. I neither wish him nor disliked him, because he didnt have much of a personality. As I continued reading, however, my perception of Wemmick came to a rising light. I realized he was having an internal conflict. He wa! s not comfortable working with Jaggers, and all those criminals. Wemmick was scared of Jaggers, I think, and did not like his work. However, he needed the line and property that came with it. He was also, I think, a bit pressured to keep the job in fear of what Jaggers might do if he quit.
